Tussey Mountain wind

What a ridge does to a golf ball.

· Wren Sato

On a calm morning in the valley it is easy to forget that there is a ridge to the south. On a windy afternoon it is hard to forget.

Wind coming over Tussey Mountain curls into the valley and swirls. A ball hit high can find it. A ball hit low stays below it.

Our advice

If you play on windy days, ask us about a lower-launching setup. A change of loft by a degree or two can keep the ball under the gust.

We test low-launch options on the monitor so you can see the difference.
