Why we wrap grips by hand

A grip is not a sleeve. It is a wrap.

· Hollis Treadwell

Anyone can slide a grip on a shaft. Doing it with tape applied by hand takes longer and gives a better result.

We cut tape to length, apply it straight and use solvent to slide the grip into place. We check alignment against the clubface. The tape layers matter because they control the diameter.

What you notice

A hand-installed grip sits straight, feels even and stays put. A rushed one can twist or bulge.

It takes five more minutes per club. We think that is worth it.
